Your Source for all things Grace Brothers.
I just had to give a quick shout out to the first British tv show that I have ever seen. I started watching it with my dad when I was a kid, and it makes me laugh every time I see it!
If you laughed at Mr. Lucas always trying to get Miss. Brahms, couldn’t wait to see what color Mrs. Slocombe’s hair was going to be, wondered how old Young Mr. Grace was, or still answer your phone in a deep voice saying ‘Men’s Wear’ then show this post some love!
Due to my somewhat sporadic internet usage, I only learned when I saw this that we lost Frank Thornton in March.
Very sad news indeed, I believe that only leaves Nicholas Smith (Mr. Rumbold) of the original main cast, plus Mike Berry (Mr. Spooner) who was of course the junior in menswear in later seasons.
(I originally reblogged this to the wrong blog, hopefully I’ve fixed it now.)
Can we talk about how precious Trevor Bannister looked back in 1956?
I don’t know for how long, but I thought it was worth a heads up to my followers. (This is the current price as of Sunday night, 4/7/13)
Also, Grace and Favour (sold as Are You Being Served? Again in the US) is currently 14.99, and AYBS The Movie is under 7.00.
(Prices are for the US Amazon site, just to be clear.)
Happy watching! :)

You’ve all done very well!
